BAUXITE AND NORTHERN RAILWAY (BXN)

The BXN was incorporated in 1906 and has its Class I interchange at Bauxite Junction, Arkansas.

The BXN is a linehaul railroad, operating 6 miles of track, and provides interplant switching, track maintenance, car weighing, washing and inspecting for our customers. 

The main commodity moved on the BXN is Alumina.

Insurance Requirements

When working within the railroad right of way or for personal use of grade crossings applicants are required to obtain and provide proof of Railroad Protective Liability Insurance.
