Cascade and Columbia River Railroad (CSCD)

The Cascade and Columbia River Railroad is a shortline railroad that interchanges with the BNSF in Wenatchee, WA and runs north to Oroville. This line was originally built in 1914 by the Great Northern Railroad to link the main line at Wenatchee to the Washington & Great Northern/Vancouver, Victoria & Eastern line at Oroville

The major commodities moving on the CSCD are limestone, pulpwood and lumber products. CSCD provides invaluable service to lumber customers. The CSCD features transload locations on its line to assist customers in getting their lumber to specific customers that may not be rail served or need additional services provided by these facilities.

The CSCD operates 148 miles of track and moves over 5,200 cars per year to or from this area in Washington. It is an important transportation service in the lumber industry for that area.
