TOLEDO, PEORIA AND WESTERN RAILWAY (TPW) The Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway (TPW) is a short-line railroad that operates from Mapleton, IL through Peoria across Illinois to Logansport, IN with trackage rights in other areas of Indiana and Illinois. TPW has interchange connections along its 247 miles of track line with all major carriers including UP, BNSF, CSXT, NS, CN, CP and various other roads which provides the customers in this area a multiple choice for their transportation needs in getting their goods throughout North America. The TPW is a high volume short-line with over 26,000 carloads in 2008 featuring commodities of shelled corn, ethanol, glutan meal, chloride, soybeans, tractor parts and urea. Customers benefit from using the TPW with its offerings of excellent access to Midwestern locations through its interchange partners.
