INDIANA SOUTHERN RAILROAD (ISRR)
Indiana Southern Railroad (ISRR) operates over a distance of 196 miles between Indianapolis and Evansville. Its route traverses the heart of Southern Indiana’s bituminous coal fields and corn belt, and positions it to serve multiple steam electric generating stations. ISRR will also serve a new coal gasification plant under construction, as well as increasing its participation in the expanding market for Illinois Basin coal.
